More biscuity tgan the 2020 version Palate: creamy upfront, mouth covering, vanilla sweet, cereal, intensive spicyness towards the finish Finish: really sticky sweetness, pungent spices, some dark chocolate -

Reviewed April 18, 2023 (edited April 28, 2023)20/B01 batch Nose: immediate buiscuits, vanilla sweetness, warming spices and faint dried fruits, nuts (cashew), more fruity than the 2021 version Palate: soft upfront, getting very spicy towards the late palate, creamy, fruity Finish: sticky, lingering sweetness , honey , cinnamon , moderate bitterness A wonderful dram. -
Nose: wonderful, sweet (however less sweet than the 15 yo), little peat, sherry (nuts,, dark fruits), rubbery, some floral notes, very complex and very balanced. Tutti frutty? Warming spices, orange Palate: Dark fruits heavy upfront, then pepper and sweetness, which gets softer towards the finish, some orange during mid palate Finish: long, much longer than the 15yo and less peaty. ginger and nuts, sugar sweet, lightly oaky, smoke comes back after several minutes

Nose: smoke, sherry fruits (orange, plum), oak, figs, lots of vanilla, warming spices. Much more rich thanks to the sherry layer than the 12yo. Palate: fruty upfront then more smoky and peppery. 12yo is more on the vanilla sweetnes side, this one is more dark fruits Finish: sticky spices, smokyness, dark chocolate,. tobacco, bit drying, wood The 12yo is more smoke dominant. This one is more balanced.
