Tastes

Nose is alcohol, reminds me of tequila. Warm on the tongue. Corn and alcohol, medicinal, but not bad. No bitter or off-putting tastes. Definitely to be used as a mixer.

High octane nose will clear your nostrils, slightly woody, and reminiscent of sweet candy corn. On the palate, the sweet woodiness continues and the heat hits your lips, top of the tongue and roof of your mouth. Not smooth, but very nice. 114 proof and a great bargain at well under $30. As good or better than many I've had at much higher prices. Significantly under rated due to its price and age.

Sweet, fruity and cloves on the nose, light. Way, way to short on the palate. To that point it's a little hard to ponder and enjoy. Hold it on your tongue for an extended period before swallowing and the profile will linger.

Ulele, Tampa FL (Columbia Restaurant Group Batch #1), 108.0 proof 3 Baked American Pure 2 1 Seared French Cuvee 2 Makers 46 2 Roasted French Mocha 2 Toasted French Spice Frankly, not overwhelming. Lacks distinction. Nose is light and floral. The palate was a bit flat to me, at first spicy, oily, and woody but some bitterness and fades fast.

Another classic Booker's. Slightly milder and fruitier than most. The nose is sweet with a hint of clove.Well rounded on the tongue, running the gambit of sweet and spicy that Booker's always brings. Not a long finish.

Very light fruity nose. Sweet, slightly medicinal palate. Not overly flavorful, but distinctly rye.

Traditional rye nose, lots of clove and anise. More of the same on the palate. Brings some heat and the back of the tongue and throat.

Mild, slightly woody nose. Spicy but not over the top. I get cloves. Oaky and sweet. Chocolate covered cherries come forward before the finish which is peppery, fruity amd slightly tannic. Double oaked is more distinctive, but this is good.

Under rated batch to my thinking. Not a strong nose, slightly smoky and yeasty, but it hits the tongue strong, full of spice and sweet vanilla.Nice burn in the back of your throat.

Sweet, briney nose. Flavor makes me think this is a high rye bourbon. I get a burnt sugar taste, but also a distinctive rye/clove flavor. Overall, very mild.
