Nose - spiced tea, plums and brown sugar, a hint of honey Taste - like spiced chai tea with a dash of honey, dark fruits, dark wine, and a hint of brown sugar Finish - lingering baking spices, mild burn

Got this from a Flaviar tasting pack. I’m usually a Scotch fan and this falls right in my wheelhouse. Very tasty overall. Nose - sweet sherry and dark fruits, brown sugar, some sharper citrus and spice notes Taste - sharp and sweet, slightly oily, a sherry bomb with darker sugar notes, some oak bitterness Finish - dry spices and lingering, medium heat

Nose - sharp rye grain and sweet vanilla, herbal notes that are hard to nail down probably from the Aspen wood Taste - sharp rye spice and mild bitterness from the wood, some light sweetness Finish - dry and spicy, interesting and different

Nose - maltiness, herbal notes, citrus sweetness Taste - very light smoke, floral notes, sweet rich malt, hints of tropical fruit Finish - oak spice and mild sweetness, light burn

Nose - rye spice, baking spices, caramel, herbal notes and a touch of mint Taste - spice forward, some barrel tannins and black pepper, a bit of burned caramel Finish - finish is sugary sweet and a bit salty, dry spices, mild burn

Nose - damp campfire ashes, smoldering grass, and a bit of lemon sharpness Taste - a lot of spices, cloves, black pepper, red pepper, a bit of meatiness that’s hard to place, a bit of iodine with slightly acrid smoke in the background Finish - dry and spicy, rye smoke actually mellows out nicely at the end, medium burn, doesn’t taste like a high proof

Nose - roasted almonds, a bit of citrus and dried apricot, a hint of smoke Taste - mostly almonds again, some slightly bitter citrus peel, a bit of the classic peat notes in the back of your throat Finish - really sets out your tounge and leaves it tingling and slightly numb, very little heat

Nose - interesting and hard to pin down, different than most Scotch I’ve had. Some spice and herbal notes up front and an overarching dark fruit richness. Taste - tropical fruit, almonds, milk chocolate, really nice overall Finish - sweet with a bit of spice lingering on the tongue, mild heat

Nose - honey, apricot, fresh red berries, floral notes Taste - tropical fruit and cream, apricot, buttery smoothness, light tannins, very tasty Finish - floral and slightly sour, lingering fruit flavor and light burn
