Appearance: Darker bronze, thicker, clings nicely to glass. Nose: Forward with alcohol, some smokiness and oak. Cherries and dark fruit. Nose seems like it will have a lot of burn but it really doesnt Palate: Oaky and some dark fruit like plumbs. Less alcohol on the taste then the nose. Some charcoal amd vanilla. Finish: Spicy, and woody with a bit of lemongrass. Burn is slow and builds but not overpowering. Value: Better can be had for less. Weller Special Reserve or Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage for half the price comes immediately to mind. Overall I give 3.5/547.0 USD per BottleLemont

Appearance: Medium gold to copper. Slightly oily Nose: Dark fruit and vanilla dominate, some alcohol comes through. Palate: Traditional Vanilla and caramel with a bit of apricot. Not complex very straightforward Finish: Very little burn, quick finish. easy to drink. Finish is consistant with palate. I would agree that this is an excellent introductory whiskey that is very suited for stone sours. A mainstay under my bar.39.99 USD per BottleLemont

If 3.5 was available thats what I would rank but the sexy bottle made me go higher than lower. lol. Appearance: Darker amber, clings thick to the glass. Medium viscosity. Favorable. Nose: Oak is straightforward with some carmel and a bit of menthol Palate: Oak gives way to vanilla and more carmel. Not hugely complex but very consistant for sipping. Finish: Warm and lasting. Not hot but builds a bit. Oak comes back with a little smokiness and hint of menthol.42.0 USD per BottleLemont

Visual: Darker copper, slightly oily, clings nicely to glass Nose: I got honey, oak, and dark fruit Palate: More fruit and honey with a little cream. Bit of vanilla then back to oak Finish: Smooth, slightly astringent with moderate burn. Gives way to carmel and finishes slightly with cherry. Nose was pleasing, palate was average to slightly above. I expected a bit more but since this is single barrel I would expect that to be hit or miss on preference. Need more tastes to really conclude.43.0 USD per BottleLemont

Appearance: dark amber to lighter brown. Thinner in texture. Nose: Caramel and baking spice are the dominant ones for me. A bit of fruit also Palate: Caramel and baking spice give way to apricots with a hint of vanilla. Very smooth and light texture for 100 proof. Alcohol is there but not overwhelming. Finish: Smooth, burn builds but not overwhelming. Medium length a bit of cinnamon comes through Good complexity, interesting flavors, relaxing pour. It's a keeper.45.0 USD per BottleLemont

Visual: Traditional color and light viscosity. Nose: Slightly astringent, bits of tropical fruit and grass. not complex Palate: Oak and cinnamon. Bit dry Finish: Shorter to medium and mellow. Oak is consistant giving way to a little vanilla A very traditional bourbon. Very straightforward. Would be best with cocktail and not straight. A bit boring by comparison.44.0 USD per Bottle

Visual: Really nice presentation bottle. looks like old time medicine show but dont be decieved. more snake oil than a cure all. pour is light to medium amber in color. Nose: First hits you with chocolate which is pleasing but then gives way to a grassiness that wrecks hit. Palate: A bit of rye and immature oats. Some cherry and wood but kind of all over the board. I think this is a very young bourbon at best Finish: a bit medicinal. stays the same throughout. nothing to write home about. At 46.99/ bottle I kind of felt ripped off. better stuff for half the price is just waiting to be bought46.99 USD per Bottle

Taste: Neat in Glen Cairn. This is Kenwood Liquors Single Barrel Pick. First......if you don't handle it with care, let it open up after you pour it out, and add a bit of water as you go you will simply get lit up. It is a bit higher on the octane for sure. Pleasantly so! Visual: medium to darker amber in color. clings to glass and is leggy like a fine cognac. Nose: Excellent, best thing among many good things about this bourbon. First whiff gave me vanilla and carmel opening to cherries. Palate: First a bit of oak mixed with vanilla. Evolves to orange peel and a bit of cinnamon type spice turning sweet butterscotch Finish: Medium to long. Burn builds but pleasantly warming. Gets sweeter with more prominent orange and caramel notes. Will be a great winter night sipper.47.0 USD per Bottle

sight: light to medium amber, clings nice to glass nose: straight up vanilla with a touch of carmel palate: vanilla gives way to tropical fruit, with carmel and oak. a bit of grass but doesnt overwhelm finish: a bit oily on the tongue but smooth. finish is medium in length, slight burn, vanilla gives way to baking spice. A very good pour that didnt break the bank. Mine was barrel 389 barrelled on 4/16/10 bottled 2/21/18. if I couls say 3.75 stars that would be my ranking. Enjoyable26.0 USD per Bottle
