Oak & Ivy Pick

Nose: Apple, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, sarsaparilla, and mint. Palate: Very similar to the nose with apple, cinnamon, caramel, orange, and a bit of pepper.

Nose: Caramel, toffee, toasted oak, campfire, cinnamon, grains, marshmallow, and vanilla. Palate: Toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, peanuts, citrus, and slight marshmallow. It ends with cinnamon bears and spice. Definitely easy sipping considering 80 proof but just leaves me wondering how many more flavors could come out with less water added. What I will say is the brown rice used instead of rye is interesting since the bourbon finishes pretty spice-forward. The price point is a bit too high on this one.

Nose: Caramel, vanilla, orange marmalade, spices, candied ginger, and toasted oak. Palate: Cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, caramel, candied ginger, oak, vanilla, cocoa powder, and a hint of mint. A nice spicy rye with a bit of sweetness!

Nose: Rich, sweet, and fruity. Orange marmalade, vanilla, nuts, honey, spices, fig, and some floral notes. Palate: Honeyed fruit, vanilla, spices, raisins, cinnamon, marzipan, and green grapes. This is excellent and full of flavor. A nice introduction into single pot still Irish whiskey!

Nose: Cinnamon, vanilla, dried herbs, orange, floral notes, and maple syrup. Palate: Buttery cinnamon roll, nutmeg, chai tea, apple, caramel, honey, vanilla, and oak.

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, oak, red caramel apple, slight campfire, toffee, brown sugar, and peanut. Palate: Peanuts, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon spice, and maple syrup. There is a nice buttery flavor and texture with this bourbon. Just a tad bit thin on the palate but finishes nicely in a cinnamon French toast sort of way.
