Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 1, 2020 (edited September 4, 2020)Find it to be a touch sweeter and a little more Barrel note. There’s a caramel profile all the way through.60.0 USD per Bottle -
If you lean in deep you can pickup some barrel notes but nothing stands out. Touch of floral notes on the tip of my tongue with a dark caramel on the back. There is a nice spice on the finish. Cool bottle but won’t make my usual rotation. The first pour was unimpressive but it has continued to get better with the 2nd and 3rd times trying it.50.0 USD per Bottle

TX Blended Whiskey
Blended American Whiskey — (bottled in) Texas, USA
Reviewed August 21, 2020 (edited October 28, 2020)Very light nose, smooth with an almost sweet candy after taste. It’s a good pore but it had a little more time to age it would be almost perfect. Will have to have again but may turn into a cool evening sipper. -
Think of this as your after dinner bourbon on a cool evening where you can still sit outside. Not much of a nose but smooth enough to hold over your entire pallet and let it set in. Sweet on the tip of your tongue with a spice that builds at it moves towards the rear. The after taste brings a hint of heat and port wine. The wine flavor is more prevalent through the entire taste than compared to the Angel Envy but the not as smooth of a pour. To completely different impressions.50.0 USD per Bottle
