Not bad for a non age stated. More floral than malt on thr nose with a clean pallet. Light on the smoke and peat.

One of thr best tastes I’ve ever had. A little hot but very complex. Would not pass on a bottle at a reasonable cost.

Enjoying the nose, a little heavy whiskey on a pallet and heat on the finish. There’s a certain dryness on the finish that keeps me sipping. Its the best Rebel I’ve had but closer to whiskey than bourbon.

Tonight it's a little more dry that sweet. The proof is nice for a Monday night sipper, although I need some snacks now.

Haven’t had the regular joseph magnus in some time but wanted to crack it out again. At times I got a touch of chocolate but the cognac was really showing through. Will have to do a side by side with a fresh bottle of Murray Hill Club.

The BOURBONXRYE has that KC heat but the pairing goes really well together. I’m ready to get another bottle.

Batch 2 Nose: Light and balanced, maybe some corn. Pallet: Dark caramel, leather and oak. Finish: Can get a bit sour but a nice mellow mug. I like the idea of a 7 barrel blend for $70, who else is doing this? Is it the best I’ve had no and one bottle of this release is enough, will I buy release 3 and other releases going forward, yes I will.

The tequila barrel finish softened the nose and pallet. It brings out a apple or pear flavor on the finish.

Nose: Strong fruit and earthy Pallet: Dried fruits Finish: Lingering spice If this was available as a daily for $150 it would be on my normal list. If your looking for a thick heavy pour this is a good option.
