Tastes

I'd like more smoke on it like other Johnnie's, it's very vanilla. That all being said, it's great for Sazeracs, Old fashioneds, and Manhattan/Rob Roy's.

Spicy, sweet, fruity & floral with a little smoke. Damn good for a blended scotch. Fun bottle and really good as a gift.

My 1st scotch love! Cheap and a little rough. It hits all the right spots with pepper, Peat, and smoke. Great for an old fashioned, Rob Roy, etc. Not so great alone.

Had a glass at a bar. It was good, not as good as the normal 12 year. More oak/vanilla flavor, a little less smooth and creamy than the 12 year.

Got a nice little taster. It's sweet and light, a little honey and wine (sherried so that makes sense) on the nose, tastes sweet, spice, orange peel, and some wood/oak/vanilla, long spice finish. Pretty good, still not better than Glenlivet 12, my fav Speyside. A touch of water adds a little creaminess.

Nose: a lot of red wine initially Taste: light, a little sweet, a little spice

Nose: honey, raisin, taste: Sweet, juicy, a little warm spice, fig. Nice warm finish. Good, but too expensive for what it is. Happy I got it in a 12/15/18yr taster pack
