Nose: subtle, burnt sugar and caramel. Slightly seasoned oak Palate: thick and chewy for the proof. All caramel and vanilla. Toasted and burnt marshmallows. Not crazy complex but very enjoyable Finish: oak and more toasted marshmallow. A touch of this nice dark chocolate coming through Tasty, very enjoyable. Not complex and the flavors are very straight forward but they do the flavors exceptionally well. A 7 on the t8ke scale

Nose: old, seasoned, smoky wood. Burnt sugar Palate: dark fruit, caramel, cinnamon spice Finish: dark chocolate. Medium, dry. More wood with a hint of anise. A 6 on the t8ke scale

Nose: nutty, oak, peanut brittle, licorice Palate: peanut brittle, spice, leather, cinnamon Finish: medium and dry I love this bottle so much

Nose: Anise, licorice, leather, ethanol Palate: oak, leather, pepper, herbal, bright citrus Finish: dry and short/medium. Vanilla and nuttiness Solid for the price. A bit more thin than I’d like, almost watery. Would have again but probably wouldn’t buy again

Kreston #3 Nose: brown sugar, caramel, burnt sugar Palate: banana foster note is more subdued. Chocolate and oak flavors are a touch stronger with this barrel. Burnt sugar as well Finish: medium in length with more oak and chocolate

Excellent. Banana foster in a glass. Proof provides caramel flavor rather than just heat. Just keep reaching for a glass. Could drink this non stop

Honestly? I’m getting a ton of scotch notes. A lot of hay and apple. It definitely drinks above its proof. But relatively uninspiring with more fruity notes than you would expect from the style. Touch of oak in the short finish. It’s fine

The first $30+ bottle I ever bought. Revisiting this 3 years later. This is better than I remember. Definite Brown Forman notes Getting that slight banana taste but mostly chocolate, orange, brown sugar, and oak. Decent body for the proof. The finish is short and uninspiring. The oak lingers after the finish All in all, a very decent pour and way better than I remember. Readily available, consistent and reasonable price

Very solid. Wish it was a touch thicker given the 100 proof. Getting some oak and spice that would be great if there was a viscosity to tie it together. Regardless, it’s rich and a touch oily. Some floral notes as well

Liking this more and more. Mouthfeel is incredible. Vanilla, caramel, and baking spices. Mild but the proof is perfect. And the mouthfeel delivers enough robustness of flavor
