Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 2, 2024Nose: leather, tobacco, oak, clove, cinnamon Palate: dark chocolate, more leather and tobacco, clove, signature four roses mouthfeel, red fruit Finish: long and strong, oak shining through here -
Nose: lighter side. Creamy with cinnamon and anise. Small amount of brown sugar Palate: cherry vanilla cola with cinnamon Finish: lingers long. Licorice, oak shinning through with dark chocolate. Can taste a little bit of the youthful grain but its not completely off putting. Great on the palate but misses the mark on finish and mouthfeel. Good buy at $50 but nothing mind blowing. 5 on t8ke scale (Good, solid daily)

Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon (2023 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 15, 2024“A” Barrel Nose: dusty, seasoned oak. Vanilla, touch of licorice. Way more powerful than expected for a 94 proof. Palate: savory character. Drinks higher than 94 proof, good mouthfeel. One dimensional but really hammers the oak not perfectly. Depth if flavor without being overpowering Finish: dark chocolate, bitter espresso. More dusty oak 8 on the t8ke scale
