lagavulin 8 year old 200th spicy cremay apple, sweet fruit, nail polish, tinge of complexity oiliness, quite liek this over the 16YO actually 3.25 smoothering heat, peaty, and you dont get the medicinal of the herbs in a laga, this goes more towards a caol, smooth heat, peps, oily, dry wood, complexity - strangely, after a few days of non stop 16YO drinking, this actually is a nice alternative given the strength and kick it brings 2.75 oaky, wood, high sustain 3 3 2.75 Noticeably lower in nosing compared to other laga series but still get the distinct pungent earthy fumes, high pep, thick complex, 2.5 Flat that gradually increases with more soot and smoke, bitterness and peat, earthy thick oily I think that 8 years is insufficient to bring justice to this laga 2 Low sustain to mid.
