A bit on the salty side, yet doesn't smell anything like the first taste. Smells a bit more on the salty sweet side with the pit of peaches. The pit, not the fruit. Beautiful color. Dense and dark on that golden brown. Shirt back-end flavors.

Well, they did what they set out to do. Russett apples on the nose and in the split second of the fore palate. Quickly changes to oats, oats and more oats. A long finish with more layers of oats.

Bllaaahhh! I'm confused as to which one this is. I think it's the American, but it also could be the rye or a bad rendition of the bourbon. Yuck!

Not bad, a bit sweet. Not too hot. Lots of flavor until the very end where it drops off. Still sweet.

Nose full of roasted apple peels right before you get to add it to apple sauce. A little bit of salted butter. On the palate..take all that and add barrel char cinnamon. Extremely approachable with a long inoffensive finish. Ryckman was right. Cheers!
