Nose - maple and honey, some herbal notes, a bit of baking spices Taste - herbs, mint, honey, a bit of pine and citrus peel Finish - light and sweet with a bit of spice, fades quickly, mild burn

Good affordable rye. Goes well in an old fashioned. Not as spicy as some ryes I’ve tasted.

I read a review that stated High West took two undrinkable rye whiskeys and blended them into something better. This is definitely a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Very drinkable 92 proof rye whiskey. A touch on the expensive side, too much so to be my “daily dram”. This is one I will definitely revisit from time to time.
