Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select

Color is medium amber with a nose of soft caramel and toffee and butterscotch. A lot of butterscotch/vanilla flavor - soft and buttery, oily - with a hint of banana and ending rye spice 3.75

Sweet and easy drinker

Light on the nose, with a note of banana bread and caramel. Smooth on the palate with notes of brown sugar and caramel. Light mouthfeel of a lower proof, but with a little peppery spice. Somewhat weaker, but lingering finish.

All alcohol burn and no flavor. Makers 46 runs circles around it for the same alcohol content

Nose is sweet and fragrant. The palate though… was lacking at first. Fell flat and was mostly ethanol, but eventually some banana flavor came through. Overall, unimpressed honestly.

Syrup and waffles nose and some sort of over ripe fruit. Banana nut and slight spice finish.
