Nose: clove, autumn leaves, toasted sugar Palate: brown sugar, crème brûlée, Vanilla, Maraschino cherries

Cherry, sweet and good finish. Slight corn flake or wheat taste and I liked this first pour.

Finally opened this bottle. Quick impressions are Sweet cinnamon, and spicy on the nose. On the palate, this was warm, like hot cinnamon sirup, with some nutty notes with it. With a 61.9% ABV, water was my friend. For me, the water brought forward the vanilla, sugar, and oak notes that I was expecting to get from the start. The temperature is cooler and the finish is long, sweet vanilla. Still, I was expecting a little more sweetness, thus the 3.75 score.

Aroma - getting quite a bit of dark fruits (berries, cherries) and slight citrus notes and honey. Nice oak and vanilla profile on backend. Picking up some slight red hot candied notes, touch of clove and faint hint of leather as well. Taste - Front of the palate, caramel & berries again. Mid palate, I get more spices, honey, vanilla and a slight hint of tobacco. Long finish. Somewhat nutty. Overall - really enjoy the balance of sweet and dark tones on this one. Worth the purchase 4.3
