Flaviar advent calendar day # 7
Nose: peat smoke balanced beautifully with spice and jammy fruit, creosote, spicy rye, mint, mesquite
Palate: cooked pear, orange peel, very mild smoke and peat. Malt sweetness, mild rye spice, honey, mild mint/herbal note as it transitions to the finish. Little bit of heat. Petrichor and minerals are found at the back end.
Finish: floral and woody, spiced wood, oak, petrichor.
