Distiller’s American Whiskey Gift Guide 2023

December 6, 2023

It’s gift giving season once again so that means it’s also time for our Holiday Gift Guides! As is the case each year, we’ve done the “tough” part of tasting to make our recommendations. To make your shopping excursions a bit easier, we’ve organized our lists by category and price. Furthermore, we’ve made suggestions for who on your shopping lists the picks would best suit.

For the most part, our picks are widely available so don’t expect to see rare releases with just a few bottles produced. In addition to American whiskeys that are new for 2023, we’ve also included some core expressions you can find year-round.

Sharp eyes will notice that we don’t have any bourbon bottles listed in our American Whiskey Gift Guide. But that’s not because we don’t have any to recommend. On the contrary, there are so many bourbon bottles to suggest we had to make a separate list. Make sure to take a look!

Here, we have all other styles of American whiskeys besides bourbon on our list including rye, Tennessee whiskey, single malt and more! Please note that prices listed are the suggested retail price (SRP) for purchases in the US. Of course, prices may vary depending on your location.
