Could just be this was an excellent barrel but I surprisingly enjoyed this more than the 100 year tribute

This just isn’t for me at this time so please don’t let my low rating affect your decision. I’m not a peat fan and although the peat is not overpowering, it is definitely there a little too much for me and I just can’t get past it to detect the other flavors.

Fairly smooth but is just a little too boring for my taste. Not bad and definitely worth the roughly $20 I paid so I can’t complain.

The wine really comes out in the finish on this one

Damon’s Beverage 62.10% ABV It’s single barrel so they are obviously all different but this selection is outstanding! High in vanilla and cherry notes with the oak and tannins muted. The longer it sits, the more oak I get but this is remarkably good! Nose is amazing right off the bat, delicious palate, and a nice long lingering finish...what else can you ask for. I may be alone here but this particular bottle contends with Elijah Craig Barrel Proof

It’s like the bourbon and rye are battling my taste buds. One second I get the traditional bourbon notes and the next I get the spicy rye notes. The mouth feel was great, it seemed to just stick to my tongue and it was velvety smooth. I didn’t know what to expect but o enjoyed this pour very much!
