Tastes

There's some dark aroma I can't place. Maybe some sort of cereal? Butter? Flavor is bold and tasted like some sort of buttery baked good. Excellent complex balance of flavors, pretty rich. Sweet and spicy, even has some salt on the tail. Love this

Aroma is complex, I'm getting plum and the wine cask. It's wonderful. Flavor is on the lighter side, but has complexity to match the aroma. Orange flavors in the middle, long spicy tail. Rich flavor, great balance of flavors. I can tell I'm missing a ton.

Very light, plenty of oak and spice. Lighter baking spices that continue into the tail. Medium body.

Mostly alcohol and the barrel on the nose. Caramel sweetness on the tongue. A little thick and sweet for me, not well balanced, but not bad either

Cereal and toffee aroma, super dark and enjoyable. Instant assault of spice on the tongue followed by sweet. I love how aggressive it is. Spice, richness, and proof all go together really well. Toffee, caramel, and espresso on the tail. This whiskey is absolutely stellar.

Dark and complex aroma, maybe medicinal notes. Flavor reminds me a lot of rye. Medicinal notes are there on the tongue, which I always think are unique. Toffee and herbs.

Aroma is barrel and bread. First thing that hits is the richness, then a really light spice flavor. Nutmeg perhaps? Would be great around the holidays.

Deep vanilla aroma. Light balanced flavor of vanilla and spice. Medium richness, fairly quick tail. I like the flavors but it doesn't have too much depth.

Extra spicy rye kick, medium richness. They let the rye shine in this one.

My favorite whistle pig so far, reminds me of four roses bourbon. Sweet and caramel, excellent richness.
