Fortaleza Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed August 1, 2020Wow! At first it was cinnamon, agave on the nose. I fought the urge to sip right away thinking it will open up with more agave after a couple minutes which (for my nose) was the case. The taste… agave, cinnamon and citrusy sweetness alone with light barrel and maybe a hint of smoke and maybe some earthy minerals; all fallowed with prickly pepper and warm spice. Finish is medium long is a vanilla-citrusy sweetness, light Smokey finish with that prickly pepper all the way! From the nose to the finish, the agave is very prominently present. Wonderful!! One of my new favorite!63.0 USD per BottleBevMo! -
Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur

Espolòn Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed July 22, 2020 (edited June 10, 2021)Agave ethanol nose, sweet citrus taste with peppery smooth finish. Make a fantastic margarita with a slightly wonderful peppery finish. And with the price factor, this is a great tequila. Probably would pay the $30 MSRP.18.0 USD per BottleVons -
Gaggingly Cloying, the smell and taste remind me of Jack and Coke. More than likely has some additives like vanilla and caramel flavors, sweeteners and colors. Nice presentation bottle that draws attention. A must have in a home bar for a special occasion shooter, sipper for my non tequila drinking friends. Not for the tequila enthusiast. An over priced, gimmicky style tequila nicely presented for the non tequila drinker.122.0 USD per Bottle

Don Julio Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed July 3, 2020 (edited February 25, 2021)I don’t know,… but to me this is full of boiled pineapple (agave) and clay dirt. Some peppery notes at the end. It doesn’t make a good margarita and the price is on the higher side. -
Patrón Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Highlands, Mexico
Reviewed June 30, 2020 (edited July 26, 2020)It’s the quintessential tequila! No overly powering flavors of sweets, the agave is center stage. Excellent way to get the party started. Great for sipping or shots and the best for a top shelf margarita. Has a heat to it which you would expect from a tequila, but is also very smooth with a light agave sweetness. Some ethanol on the smooth finish.39.0 USD per BottleBevMo!
