Nose - Milk Chocolate, baking spices, banana bread, toasted brown sugar, marshmellows. Palate - Banana lingers so nicely. So much vanilla with some really balanced toasted char. Cinnamon candy chews. Super well balanced on all fronts. Finish - Woody, earthy, refreshing, a tad bit of mint. Some cinnamon heat followed by a mellow sweetness.

Nose - Wood chips, deep dark cherry but lightly applied, sticky vanilla. Sharp scents of green apple here and there. Some maple syrup. Palate - Super thin, some oak and char. Very light notes of sugar. Some light plum notes. Kinda one dimensional. Finish - No finish, super thin. Maybe some barrel char but insanely thin on the way down.

Reviewed July 1, 2022 (edited April 13, 2024)Nose - Dulce de leche, super sticky caramel candy. Hersheys chocolate syrup. Creme bru lee toasted sugar. Palate - Stale cardboard and leather. Some salted peanuts. Thats it. Finish - Dry cardboard. -
Nose - Super caramelly. Super sweet candied nuts. Apple smoked wood chips. Palate - Oak and buttery sweetness. Not overly sweet, nicely balanced. Some floral notes. Slight peppery notes but again very subtle not overpowering. Classic cherry notes but also jot subtle. Feels like a good variety mix of multiple classic bourbon notes across the board. Finish - Cinnamon hots candy. Some peppery red wine notes at the end, like a barrel aged cabernet.

STORE PICK FROM UNIT B Nose - Baked bread. Fruit inside baked bread. Sweet cinnamon like a cinnamon bon. Banana bread. Little bit of cherry and oak, but the sweet bread scent comes through. Palate - More sugar cinnamon coms through. Cinnamon candy and oak. Kinda one dimensional. Maybe some grass from the wheat. Really good though. Vanilla lightens up with background accents. Little honey Finish - Smoked fruit and pepper. Little bit of spice and wood.

Reviewed June 26, 2022Nose - Lots of apricot and peaches. Tea is consistent. Peat. Slight lemon grass but very slight. Waxy. Palate - Thin and light, a very easy sipper. Slight fruit and floral notes. Peppery tobacco throughout with touches of burnt leather or wood. Little smokiness. Some peatiness. Finish - Peppery tobacco and subtle fruit on the end. Some bitter wood but not overpowering. Overall nice. -

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye (2020 Special Release)

Reviewed May 19, 2022Nose - Classic Jack Daniels banana rind. A little bit of brown sugared banana bread with chunks of caramel. Light spring floral arrangement. Sweet nectar. Spring dew. Very herbal but in a beautiful light way. Palate - Off the bat just a bomb of flavors holy cow. Citrus, herbal, earthy, sweet. Just explosive. Second sip Im absorbed with richness from the sweet banana that jack is known for. Its here and its complimented very nicely with some strong, edging on bitter, herbal notes. Also getting some light citrus notes, like the zest of an orange or lemon. Overall complex and nice. Finish - That finish is a traditional rye finish. Herbal, light, a little sweet. Super nice finish to an already complex and delicious pour. -
