Nose: Carmel, vanilla, brown sugar and hint of orange peal Palate: Carmel and vanilla bomb. Rye spices with sweet tobacco finish. Finish: long and lingers. Overall: this is a special combat medic bottle. Being a former airborne infantryman I got lots of love for “Docs”. All of that aside this is a fantastic rye. Tasty with a full body and all the edges are rounded off. Very high marks. Only issue is it’s 97 of 150 bottles. You’re just not going to get it again.120.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: baking spices, vanilla, Carmel Palate: barrel spice, dark fruit brown sugar Finish: nice long finish with some sweetness in the back. Overall: for me the EHT small batch is better. Single barrel is more viscous and mouth coating. It’s damn good. I did get this bottle at retail. I’ve become friends and spent hard earned money with a local shop and they rewarded me after some time with a very sought after bottle. It’s all about relationships. If you can find this bottle at retail count your blessings.
