Tastes

Light nose of grain, a little barrel, pear, toffee, roasted peanuts and ocean air. On the palate it’s quite simple; toast and grain, with touches of toffee and citrus peel.

Crème brûlée, apple, pear, some barrel and alcohol on the nose. Very weak on the palate, with flavors of grain and minimal elements of sweet vanilla, bread and something bitter. It’s not flavorless, but it’s pretty close.

Aroma of rye, vanilla, celery, oak. Taste of cinnamon, rye, wood and pepper.

Light on the nose, some grain, sherry cask and a touch of pepper. Lightly sweet and smooth; some pepper, oak, vanilla and grain.

Barrel 7352505, filled 3/31/16, chosen by Total Wine—CTX. Nose of oak, cinnamon, toasted grain, caramel, vanilla, and milk chocolate, with pecan pie, peanut butter and a little something floral once a little water is added. Sweet, with apple, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, honey, nuts, oak, chamomile, char and toasted malt flavors. Something seems a little raw. Hot but not too much. @twostal
