CACHAÇA DIVINA D MINAS GUANANDI
Cachaça — Barbacena, Minas Gerais , Brazil
Reviewed August 28, 2024 (edited August 29, 2024)Cachaça Divina d'Minas Guanandi produced in Barbacena - MG. Guanandi wood is new in cachaça storage. This wood is also known as Jacareúba. Provides the distillate with slightly sweet notes, straw color, crystal clear, with tears that are not so viscous. It has a simple spiciness that increases the pleasant sensation when tasting. Smooth, slightly sweet aftertaste with low acidity, leaves a great feeling of wanting to repeat the dose. The Base Guanandi da Divina d'Minas project was created with the aim of bringing something new to the cachaça market. Cachaça Divina D’Minas Guanandi was aged in a 700-liter barrel, from Garças-SP, the place where this tree was planted more than 28 years ago with the aim of commercialization. The barrel was produced in Garças and transported to the Divina D’Minas wine cellar at the beginning of 2021. The project consisted of launching a limited edition using Guanandi cachaça. We created 2 blends that, together with cachaça aged in Guanandi, form the trio that makes up the edition called Base Guanandi. This edition closed with a batch that totaled 700 bottles in different quantities between each type. Therefore, this is a unique batch.
