Among the winding valleys and mountains of the Center-West of Minas Gerais, the historic city of Pitangui emerges, which was the seventh gold village, the cradle of Brazilian independence and the scene of the cachaça revolt in 1718. Among countless protagonists of the independence uprising of 1822, Father Belchior stands out, priest and personal friend and confidant of Dom Pedro I. It was precisely in an old property that belonged to the priest that Poliana Miranda chose to house the Cachaça Frazão facilities. With great care, the rustic features of the farm were preserved. In 2012, through an initiative by cachaça lovers, the old dream of producing a quality distillate became a reality, preserving the local cachaça culture. The still facilities are large and modern, with the entire production line made of stainless steel, strictly meeting the standards required by legislation. This guarantees the purity of the drink at all stages of production. Cachaça Frazão seeks growth with high investment in technology, but without forgetting its artisanal and historical roots. Since the cachaça revolt in the 18th century, the name Frazão has been present in the villages of the Pitangui region, in Minas Gerais, demonstrating strength and historical importance. Hence the origin of the name of the cachaça, which was conceived as a way of paying homage to this famous family. Cachaça Frazão Ouro Carvalho 670ml is aged for two years in oak barrels. Robust, it has an alcohol content of 42%. It has a unique flavor and a formidable smoothness. Source Cachaçaria Nacional.2.0 USD per ShotTimbuca Bar

Reviewed September 23, 2024Cachaça Quiridhuz is produced in the mountains of Caldas da Imperatriz, in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, by the Emperor's mill that respects the centuries-old traditions of quality cachaças. Its name is a tribute to the Florianopolitan dialect, popularly known as “manezinho da island” or even “manezês”, is the form of the Portuguese language used by the native of Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina. The Florianopolitan dialect is also heard in the municipalities neighboring the capital, although with some particularities. This speech is the result of the union of the Portuguese of the Azoreans and, to a lesser extent, Madeirans who arrived in the mid-18th century with the already somewhat "indigenized" Portuguese of the Vincentians and Saints, São Paulo natives who already inhabited the Island of Santa Catarina, where it is located. the capital. Cachaça Quiridhuz is a distillate of sugarcane juice must, naturally fermented and stored in noble wood barrels. The sugar cane used in manufacturing is a selected variety, organically grown in the granite mountains near Serra do Tabuleiro. It is the real Brazilian Caipirinha cachaça. Ideal for all types of drinks based on fresh fruit, macerated or in the form of juices. Perfect to be consumed neat and cold, straight from the freezer. CACHAÇA ESTACAO DA CANA CARVALHO
Cachaça — Monte Belo, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Reviewed September 15, 2024The production of Cachaça Estação da Cana began because residents of the Juréia district, located on the banks of the Muzambo River, in the city of Monte Belo, Minas Gerais, were looking for a quality and different product that represented the region. It was when Júlio César Benjamim, current owner and still owner of Estação da Cana, who until then had only had contact with cachaça that his great-grandfather had started with years before, decided to study the universe of the Brazilian distillate. He went in search of courses and lectures to learn, got to know different stills, studied in depth the production process of each one of them so that, in 2015, he began planting the first sugarcane that would give rise to his cachaça. With the sugarcane planted, it was time to think of a name that represented his family and the city. And that was not a difficult task. Juréia was an important railway hub for more than four decades. Coincidentally, Benjamim's family migrated to the region in 1911, the same year the railway began to be built. So, nothing more fitting than naming your drink Estação da Cana, paying homage to an important point in the region and your family. The cachaças are distilled in copper stills, stored and matured in wooden barrels in a sill system. It has strict quality control to produce a good and legitimate distillate. Cachaça Estação Da Cana Carvalho is aged in oak barrels. With 39% alcohol content, it has a bright, golden visual appearance and a medium body. In the aroma, balanced alcohol, vanilla and a sweetness reminiscent of wild honey. On the palate, a slight sweetness, evident notes of vanilla and balanced acidity, long finish.
