Nose: little spikey, otherwise wonderful vanilla, marshmellow, apple, cherry, warming spices, very promising Palate: nice vanilla upfront, then pungent ginger became dominant, salty, smoke Finish: pungent wave goes away quickly, some wood, some sweetness and minimal sourness remains. Like after beer. Salt.Maglód

Glenkinchie 12 Year
Single Malt — Lowlands, Scotland
Reviewed May 3, 2022 (edited November 19, 2022)Nose: fresh, clean. Floral, yeast. Citrus. Palate: gentle upfront, vanilla sweet afterwards, peppery and yeasty at end. Under the shoulder of the bottle more grainy, less yeasty. Finish: warming. Spicy first, then some bitternes and oak. Quite long, around 30 secs or more. I was expecting lighter stuff, but this whisky has a character.Maglód
