A large helping of carrot cake with thick cream cheese frosting on the nose. The palate is a heaping forkful of the cake with a surprise piece of pineapple. The finish is fruit and baking spice.

Light straw in colour, long slow legs drop down the side of the glass. The nose is sweet cream poured into a tin of peaches sat next to a glass of iodine. The palate has a creamy mouthfeel, it’s baking spices, the finish is sweet crunchy brown sugar crusted on top of an apple pie. A good whiskey, the nose is a bit medicinal for me. Adding some water… opens up the nose for the better. It becomes vanilla cream on apricots and peaches. The palate gets extra sweet and creamy. Definitely a whiskey that’s better with water!

Freshly baked ginger snap cookies, warm from the oven brushed with melted butter and dusted with cinnamon and brown sugar. This is an very smooth finish. This is a bourbon that makes me think of home.

Smoked grilled lemons and funiture polish on the nose. The palate is sweet honeyed. The finish is more of the smoked furniture polish, like a bite out of a lacured footstool. Its almost Aquavit in its medcinical qualities. The medicinal iodine isn’t a combination I enjoy… sadly, I had to pour the dram out I disliked it so much.

Chocolate peanuts and raisins trail mix with dried cherries and chocolate chip Cookies.

Pears, apples, and lemon peanuts in the nose. The palate it brown sugared candied nuts. The finish is thick candied nuts

Peaches, pear, vanilla, and raw sugar on the nose. Sweet warming cream on the palate, with a nutmeg and hot cinnamon finish.

Caramalized sugar and toffee on the nose. The palate is sweet vanilla then creamy orchard fruits. The finish smooth. Add some water. And more vanilla and sugar comes out. The palate becomes richer. The finish is baking spices.

Sweet iodine and peat on the nose. The palate chili sweet to sugar then creamy. The finish is warming with smoke.
