Speyburn 10 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed July 30, 2021 (edited November 16, 2021)Very solid. Being around 30$ is an excellent value for this. Very smooth with a decent amount of flavor with a bit of fruit and kind of a toffee taste. If your wondering if you'd like a decent single malt scotch but don't want to spend a ton of money this is the one for you -
Tastes exactly like what it is a low price scotch. It has a very weak flavor of a bit of fruit and floral notes. While weak, it is extremely smooth however so if you are looking for a good scotch mixer or something to shoot you could do alot worse. But this is not one I would recommend to sip and savor

Shieldaig Islay Single Malt
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed April 25, 2021 (edited April 30, 2021)Great starter islay. Really gives the peaty campfire smoke taste for a great price. It is a little weak but for a $25 dollar single malt that is to be expected. If your unsure about islay scotch and don't want to drop 50 dollars on laphroaig this is an excellent cheaper alternative -

Big House Straight Bourbon 6 Year
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Kentucky), USA
Reviewed January 23, 2021This is the definition of mediocre. It is a little lacking in flavor although you can definitely taste spice and very small amounts of caramel. I will say it's quite smooth and I wouldn't recommend adding any ice or water at all. For 20 dollars you could do better but you also could do a lot worse.20.0 USD per Bottle -
Everyone should try this one at least once. This is generally only sold in kentucky although I have heard on rare occasions it makes its way out of the state. This is a sweet bourbon. Caramel and apple are definitely the driving tastes. It's smooth, and under 15 dollars. You'll never see an ad for this bourbon because they put 0 marketing dollars towards it, but I promise you will never find a better bourbon under $2013.0 USD per Bottle

Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 3, 2020 (edited October 25, 2020)My favorite 100 proof bourbon. This blows Wild Turkey 101, and Evan Williams 100 proof out of the water. This baby is the smoothest 100 proof I've ever had in my life and has a great balance of oak, char, caramel and brown sugar. This checks off all of my preferences for a good qualitiy bourbon. I crown Old Grandad king of the Bonded bourbons24.0 USD per Bottle
