This is the definition of mediocre. It is a little lacking in flavor although you can definitely taste spice and very small amounts of caramel. I will say it's quite smooth and I wouldn't recommend adding any ice or water at all. For 20 dollars you could do better but you also could do a lot worse.

Not bad. Has a bit of spice and peat to it; really warms up your mouth. Fairly similar to dewars white label. I've heard this mixes great with club soda although I personally have never tried that

Everyone should try this one at least once. This is generally only sold in kentucky although I have heard on rare occasions it makes its way out of the state. This is a sweet bourbon. Caramel and apple are definitely the driving tastes. It's smooth, and under 15 dollars. You'll never see an ad for this bourbon because they put 0 marketing dollars towards it, but I promise you will never find a better bourbon under $20

My favorite 100 proof bourbon. This blows Wild Turkey 101, and Evan Williams 100 proof out of the water. This baby is the smoothest 100 proof I've ever had in my life and has a great balance of oak, char, caramel and brown sugar. This checks off all of my preferences for a good qualitiy bourbon. I crown Old Grandad king of the Bonded bourbons

This tastes like someone melted down an old leather boot and threw alcohol in it. Not a great drink. The 100 proof bonded version however is one of my favorite bourbons and only costs about 4 dollars more.

Picked up a fifth for about 22 dollars. Pretty solid option for the price. It's got a relatively weak flavor but it's smooth, smokey, and satisfying. This often gets labeled as a knock off Johnnie walker black label which may be true, but because it's about 10 dollars cheaper than JW you can't go wrong with the smokey black grouse.

I found this and gave it a go. This is among the best value bourbons I've ever had. You can get a handle (1.75L) for around 20 dollars and the taste is smooth although it is a tad weak but that is to be expected at the price point. As long as this thing stays inexpensive this is a great drink for people on a budget.

Reason for the high rating again is the price. This usually sells between 12-15 dollars and you can't beat the price for a 100 proof. Nothing incredibly special about it, it's pretty much Evan Williams black label but stronger
