The nose instantly transports you to the beach with a mild breeze. Very briny with a little bit of vanilla and grass notes. On the palet more brine and vanilla joined by honeyed cereal and a touch of fresh lemon. Quite light in taste and the finish is short but considering the price very much bang for your buck.20.0 EUR per Bottle

Vanilla is dominant in the nose and taste in this Teeling expression too. Strong alcoholic smell and bite on the finish. On the pallet notes of red fruit but quickly overpowered by the barrelspice and the alcohol. This is a not very exciting whiskey to me reminds me of a young fruity bourbon. I liked this one the least of the Trinity pack.

Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed March 19, 2021 (edited January 20, 2022)On the nose vanilla is dominant with hints of sweet fruits. On the pallet waves of different fruits roll in. First Light tastes of citrusfruits with orchardfruits and after that more heavy notes of dried- and forestfruits. The pallet is quite rich in barrelspice and alcoholic bite. Overall very interesting but a bit overpowering to me. Maybe it's one of those whiskies that take multiple tastes to really unlock. This sample felt a bit chaotic and overwhelming. The different tastes aren't really blending together well. -
Glenmorangie Nectar D'or 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 23, 2021 (edited February 2, 2021)This was the last for me to taste from the standard 10 year and the barrel finishes, for me it holds the middle between the other three. Apart from the common vanilla and citrussy note, peach and apricot (the fresh kind not the dried kind like in the Lasanta) and a little bit of barrel spice and sweet fruit (but not as much as the quinta ruban). If you like the sweetness or the spiciness try the Quinta ruban. If you like the fruitiness or nuttiness try the Lasanta. If you like this one but you want more of the vanilla, citrus and grassy note go back to the original 10. -
