Weller Full Proof Binnys Batch 3 Aroma- picking up lots of spices here… cinnamon, baking spices, hint of winter green. Strong vanilla on the back end. Lacks complexity, but quite inviting. Taste - Dang that is big and bold. Drinks much hotter than 57%. But I’m enjoying it. Much more sweetness here than on the nose. Sweet caramel, vanilla.. even a slight milk chocolate note comes to mind. There is a slight grape/tannic note that creates a drying effect that is rather intriguing. Getting a touch of cherries and plums as it opens up. Much more complex here than on the nose. Overall - this is really damn good.

Really nice balance here. Figs and plums coming through. And getting a slight hint of bubble gum. Taste - Whoa. That is quite different than the nose. Leather, tobacco, black tea, oak. All really bold flavors. Vanilla bean comes through on the finish. Really enjoy the transition from the bold on the front and the massive sweetness on the finish. -

Cherry juice coming in on the finish, with some alcohol heat and mint. Finish is medium length… wish it held just a tad longer. -

Reviewed August 5, 2022 (edited September 16, 2022)Aroma - brown sugar, almonds, apples, pears, pie crust baking spices. Sweet profile, quite a nice balance Taste - This is pretty good. Getting quite a bit of those same notes from the nose here. Big brown sugar, apples, berries and a slight spice. There’s a touch of old oak on the backend which really brings this into balance. Extremely smooth. Overall - above average at its price point. Really nice blend.. Definitely getting more of those younger 3 year whiskeys than the 12 years. -
Aroma - huge brown sugar and tropical fruits. Massively sweet. Rum is really shining through, hint of rye spice. Man I’m really liking this nose and really hoping the taste follows through. Taste - yes. This is what I was hoping for. That brown sugar, butterscotch and spice rum sweetness balancing out with the rye and tropical citrus notes. This is excellent summer night whiskey.

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-03 "Bardstown Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed July 24, 2022 (edited November 30, 2022)Aroma - peanut shells, huge red hot candies, ginger bread cookie, light vanilla frosting, cherry cola. Taste - man.. massive peanut presence on the first sip and even on the finish. Yea.. even on the second and proceeding sips, I’m gettin all peanuts. There is a slight flat cherry cola note. Touch of cinnamon and apples. Overall - nose was far superior to the palate. The amount of peanut-profile though is really extreme on this dram.
