This one is interesting. On my palette, not the typical vanilla and caramel flavors, but oak and some citrus on the nose, the front palette is like sweet, followed by some apricot. Clean profile, not very complex as I did not pick up too much on the mid palette, but a super long and dry finish with more sugar and orange. There are a lots of tannins in here. Fun pour, maybe it will change after sitting open for a few months. After sitting the barrel char is more prominent

Batch 4 Almost a Willett 4 rye nose, honey, rye dill, peanut, licorice, long dry finish

AZ-4 3 barrels, 207 of 510 Char #4, 74%, 18% rye, 8% malted barely, 15 years 6 months Sweet vanilla, peanut nose. Char shines through, rye dill, vanilla, strong oak, medium to long dry finish. Subtle smoke

5280 club with daveco pick 133.4 proof, glencairn, deep copper color Instaggnito sticker Sweet vanilla, orange, and spice in the nose. More dry than sweet, although some brown sugar presents itself after the first sip. Some cinnamon and clove, baking spice, raisin and waffle, followed by subtle syrup. Subtle char in the out breath, but a long dry finish where some orange and chocolate dance in the senses. Good oak tannins linger long with the vanilla For the proof, this drinks very well balanced. I’m sure some drops of water will change the profile at a later time.

5280 whiskey club, barrel 7533526 (large number) 120 proof. Barreled 11/2/2016 Sweet corn! Followed by red hots. Tickles the nose, peanut and licorice fades to more red hots dipped in honey, then start to pick up a little dill in the finish that is dry and long. Great pick up for a 5 yr whiskey. @daveco Come to think of it, a very similar flavor profile to baby saz

Almost jack and Coke kind of flavor!

Vanilla on the nose, with a slight single malt up front that quickly gives away to sweet corn, caramel, and smoke. The smoke lingers but not over bearing. Some orange in the finish that’s of medium length

Very smooth and great viscous body. Caramel, corn, very well blended, some markers mark notes.

Unfortunately never impressed with Kentucky owl based on price point. Seems more like a gimmick. This one is smooth with rye dill and oregano. Corn and toast, herbal with slight smoke finish. Medium length

Grainy nose, light golden color. Special edition 1. Sweet light body, corn and cinnamon hots, light finish
