Ilegal Mezcal Añejo

Very smooth, wood and sweetness and the smoky taste are present. Very good mezcal.

Yum. Aroma of smoke, vanilla, earth, agave, wood. Smoky, peppery, sweet, leathery, spicy, salty taste. Great all around balance. Nice neat, but also makes a killer margarita.

Rich and Sweet Tastes very rich. You'll taste dark mezcal smoke with bourbon wood notes and vanilla. the drink is deep and sweet and has a sort of cream vanilla cream on the wooden spoon taste, which mixes quite well with the smoky agave flavor. It finishes a wee bit bitter, but that's likely from the wood. This drink is quite good, its very complex, but also very tasty on the surface. You don't have to be a master in spirits to appreciate this (I know because I'm not). The only downside is the price tag. It's too expensive, and probably not worth it. I don't prefer mezcal that much over other spirits to justify the expense.

Pale amber. Butterscotch, vanilla, pepper. Cream, butter. Smooth, mild burn. Quality añejo.
