Again a good whisky for the price. Not a lot of complexity. The fruity body with the new oak finish is definitely strong. There’s a grainy brightness and green apple to this that I find usually in a Irish whisky. Very drinkable even with the slightly high proof. A good dram to enjoy with your friends.

Delicious dram for a budget price. I bought this for $32 but it tasted more expensive than that. The mild body with brine at the front on the nose with sweet honey and maybe a hint of medicinal note gave Aerstone a beautiful flavor profile. The mild body makes it very drinkable. A good to whisky to share with your friends.

A pretty good American Single Malt with heavy notes of fruit and oak. A nice dram to enjoy on a cold day by the lake.

I was already into my 4th whiskey for the day so it was rough for me to collect the notes that are very distinguishable.

Rich fruity notes are at the front. Rum is making a big presence. Very sweet. Not my favorite type of a finish but for this price you can’t really complain too much about a classic speyside with a little twist.

Not a very complex whiskey. The sweet wine & spice notes are very rich. Kind of almost like a bourbon. Pretty good, easy to drink whiskey. I wouldn’t personally pay the price point knowing the simplicity and the flavor profile, but to each their own.

Wow! I’m kind of biased because Highland Park got me into whisky. So I love the typical flavor profile of Highland Park in general. And this is that cranked up to 11. The 126 proof gives you that extra boost with the typical mild smoky, honey, dark fruit with an unique mocha note that is so beautiful on the nose. And the pallet delivers 120%. Absolutely loved it. The best 150+ bottle I’ve purchased. Highland Park never disappoints me.

A quality like this for 30 bucks? That’s unbelievable. The usual Islay flavor profile is there. Smoke, brine and the sweet malty honey. At 46% it feels very drinkable. My friends and I drank the whole bottle within less than an hour. No age statement and hard to say where they sourced the whisky from other than its from Islay. Probably the best budget whiskey I’ve ever had.

For the price this is a good whisky. The malted barley is a bit heavy, kind of similar to a scotch in the finish. The rum cask is present but bit over powering. I enjoyed it very much and looking forward to try out other versions of Teeling whisky. I’m in the mood for Irish these days.

Remind me a lot of Jameson stout cask. The beer finish is obvious. Other than that at 43% it felt like a very good Irish whiskey. The unmalted barley is present. Very thin, but super drinkable. Enjoyed the hell out it with my friends.
