Interesting and hard to describe. The smells are faint but you get little whiffs of peat, smoke. The first sip is a juicy mouthful of butter, briny ocean, charcoal, peppercorn. The finish is lengthy but the flavors develop in your mouth. The taste bounces around from medicinal with menthol tingles, then the sweetness kicks in with subtle ripe orange, raisins and tanginess. Love the length but the bitterness can be overpowering. Maybe the mature bottles have the best fit.

Nice bourbon with smells of burnt wood, citrus, allspice, light mint, floral with touches of caramel. The taste is a punchy spicy heat that's followed by heavy oak, licorice, cinnamon but the finish is medium. If the finish was as strong as the initial taste I would rate it higher. Great for the price.

Puncher's Chance Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 10, 2022 (edited November 19, 2022)At this price point you can't pass it up. Vanilla and caramel scents mixed with pepper and butterscotch. The smell comes off sweet but the taste quickly takes over with spicy pepper, clove and allspice. The heat gives a lengthy slightly smoky finish. It taste deceptively spicy. The heat comes in hot and slowly unfolds to a mentholated finish. Good buy -
This bottle was very meh for me. When you smell fragrant apple and spices, you think this is going to be incredible. After tasting, the apple comes through but not as intense as the smells gives off. The baking spices take the lead with heavy cardamom, clove, butter and oak. The finish aside from being oily doesn't last. Solid bottle but nothing to scream praise of. I'll try again just to confirm because I wanted more of the apple.

I've seen this bottle and always meant to try but just always forgot. After the long wait, I'm mad I didn't try it before. Rich smells of vanilla and caramel baking spices. Super smooth oily taste, bit sweet but not overly sweet. Mouthful of caramel, licorice, vanilla. The heat on the finish is long urging you to keep a bottle in stock.

Soft scents of caramel and vanilla. Very full body of butterscotch, black licorice pepper and heavy smoke. The oily smoke flavor lingers pleasantly with a long finish. Balanced heavy heat that comes through more as you sip. I love that it's not overly sweet. Just subtly sweet. Honestly feels like drinking a tasty camp fire.
