On the palate, more anise, orange zest, jasmine, and vanilla – accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and pine. Long, pleasantly bittersweet finish. 4.00/5.00 – Great (neat) -

On the palate, more pine and coriander, along with toffee and orange peel. Medium-length finish. Plenty of smoothness here – but without much complexity, and with minimal intensity. 2.50/5.00 – Acceptable (neat) -

Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed October 18, 2023 (edited September 6, 2024)On the nose, sweet notes of toffee, vanilla, nutmeg, apple chips, and charred oak. Very oily, moderately tannic mouthfeel. On the palate, more notes of nutmeg, toffee, and vanilla – plus campfire smoke and orange zest. Finish is medium-length and dominated by smoke, with relatively little heat. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat) -
Distinct notes of vanilla, oak, and baking spice on the nose, with a milder hint of toasted coconut. Light, fairly round mouthfeel. More oak, vanilla, and toasted coconut on the palate, plus lots of pepper which persists throughout the finish. Finish is on the shorter end, but is also noticeably smooth. Nothing unique to be found here, but quintessentially easy-drinking. 2.50/5.00 – Acceptable (neat)

On the palate, more sweet orange and marmalade, with a short finish. It'll add some very linear orange sweetness (and a lot of colour) to your cocktails – but that's all this is good for. If you're looking for depth, look elsewhere. 2.00/5.00 – Bad (neat) -

The orange and lime return in force on the palate, with the juniper taking a back seat, accompanied by thyme and some more coriander and ginger. Mouthfeel is round and lightly oily. Finish is medium-length. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat)
