This tastes more like water than any vodka I’ve tried, and I mean that as a high compliment. We are talking about vodka after all, where flavor descriptors such as “nail polish remover” “paper” and “printer ink” are often viewed as not only acceptable, but positive results. Well Pinnacle is lacking in these dubiously desirable traits. It’s rather clean and neutral and boring, which again, score highly in my Great Book of Vodka, which is unpublished, unwritten, unheard of and unlikely to even exist. It has less existence than the finish on this vodka. It has less existence than the flavor of this elixir. It has less existence than the impression left by this meaningless review. I’m sorry I’ve wasted your time. I’ll see myself out now. Btw if you’re using this as a well vodka then yay you because you could do much worse and pay more for doing so.8.0 USD per Bottle

This brand is ubiquitous due to exceptional marketing a few decades ago. A rather muted intro, with a weird slightly bitter finish. A softness what seems like “silky” at first slowly devolved into “oily”. Didn’t make much of an impression on me either way. Which may or may not be the objective. I don’t know what vodka is trying to accomplish by existing in the first place so I wouldn’t bother wasting time contemplating anything I may or may not have said or typed regarding this subject.

Maker's Mark Cask Strength Batch 20-05 (108.7 Proof)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 19, 2021 (edited December 25, 2021)Hard to find anything to complain about here. This is great. It’s everything makers mark should be and apparently is. This makes me grin foolishly and I keep giggling and looking in the mirror and saying “Craft mastery right here says I”. If you want a similar joyful experience, find this, buy this and don’t stop drinking this until you are in the same mindset. Then call me and let’s giggle together over the phone. 623-300-6970. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. -
For all the hype this has received I must say I’m a bit confused. Plant this firmly in the “Under-delivered” section. All I got from this dram was what I would expect from a slightly-more-refined-than average corn whiskey. I tried to squeeze more flavor descriptors out but that’s all I got. I’m so deflated I don’t even have any jokes.

The Usual nail polish remover nose and papery taste Ive come to expect from Earths most boring elixir. There is a hint of a bright tang possibly from a copper still but I don’t know. I didn’t read anything about this product. The bottle claims unhelpfully that its Distilled From Grain and Proudly Made In the US. It is also gluten free and uses the worlds rarest water which I’m not sure how they even quantify that but no municipal water ever touches it which is good because anything any government touches is left worse off than before. So yeah I guess as vodka goes its pretty clean and neutral and clinically devoid of character which, like Klaus Schwab, seems to be what it strives for. If Vodka were a person it would be a lifeless globalist with a trans-human agenda.

For only having three botanicals this packs a nice little punch and gives rise to the question whether or not the one dillion botanicals I see listed on oher brands are even necessary. But it’s a little too thin in body and has a little bit too much of an acrid burn for this to rank very high in my pathetic book but what do I know? Nothing. Nothing, America. I know nothing. I’m not being humble here or self-deprecating. I’m of the idea that the less you know, the more intelligent you are. So yeah all I know is that I don’t know. But somehow I’m still apparently more intelligent than 67.88% of the country. Shoutout to the CDC for keeping measurable stats on this.

1792 Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 27, 2021 (edited December 12, 2021)The bottle is perfume shaped and the contents are aswirl with the the likeness of chocolate covered cherries yet still this has a masculinity that shan’t be denied. Like the pretty boy who is surprisingly a tough athlete with good character. It holds up well in cocktails, has a makers mark-like depth of complexity. It’s a bit disarming and polarizing. It can either look great on your shelf or you’ll hate it. It can taste great on the palate or you’ll hate it. But this here is a bit of a legend (though the name change sort of disrupted that and isn’t doing it any favors in the “Memorable” department, should one exist) I see why it’s earned a spot as a daily drinker for some. Not for me, but I will enjoy a dram from time to time and wonder how a whiskey can somehow be metrosexual and hardy at the same time. -
This actually has an earthy or maybe vegetal hint of flavor which in itself is impressive when it comes to vodka, mans most boring elixir. This hint of sets it above most vodkas I have not enjoyed. Not that I enjoyed this. I just didn’t not enjoy it as much as most others. But yeah leave it to Russia to be better. They are better at everything right now.

It’s got just enough complexity to keep you intrigued and waver every time it’s available. All the peat, smoke, and honey lie just underneath a bed of warm earthy caramel. Great product as in its consistent despite staggering volume, just doesn’t quite have what I want in a whisky. Upon reflection, its ubiquity hurts its standing. i doubt I will ever love anything so mass produced. And I think its Diageo isnt it...I might've known. F**k Diageo.

This is excellent. A huge step up from their flagship. The almost tangy clean mineral notes from the copper are prevalent and the mouthfeel is magically light. It’s almost like whipped air. I’m sure this is great in a martini but for me, neat is where this shines, and I don’t say that about vodka. Masterfully done.
