Reviewed September 22, 2021 (edited November 1, 2021)A- amber -1, high viscosity N- peaty, smoky, pepper, tangerine, orange peels, savory, toffee P- Peaty and smoky arrival, medium spicy, oily, full, rich, black pepper, honey, vanilla, tart, oak, chocolate, sea minerals F- medium- long finish, sweet- savory aftertaste very pleasant C- I love Lagavulin!! I was very skeptical with the Guinness cask finish but it imparts a bit of velvet viscosity that I'm enjoying, with drops of water enhance the sweetness of this dram -

Reviewed September 21, 2021 (edited April 1, 2022)A- amber +2, high viscosity N- toffee, vanilla, raisins, dark sherry, honey, burned sugar, tobacco, cotton candy P- spicy arrival, full, rich, tobacco ashes(interesting first time I'm getting this on a dram), toffee, vanilla, honey, raisins, plums, apricots, chocolate, walnuts , rum cake, oak F- long pleasant finish, sweet-nutty aftertaste C- what a pleasant surprise, heard good things about this dram and decided to give it a try, oh boy so glad I did it another sherry BOMB!!!! I love my adbunah but this is another great option that you should try -

Reviewed September 20, 2021 (edited October 18, 2024)A- amber +1 (color added) N- vanilla, toffee, honey, burned sugar, rum punch, banana P- creamy arrival, light spicy, full, rich, oily, honey, toffee, vanilla, walnuts, creme brûlée, banana, raisins, tart, rum cake F- medium finish, creamy-nutty-sweet aftertaste C- NAS dram ( I believe it should be at least 8 YO) balanced and very pleasant -
Springbank 15 Year

Reviewed September 19, 2021 (edited April 13, 2022)A- amber + 2, high viscosity N- tangerine, orange peels, honey, vanilla, funky , toffee, green apples, banana, lemon, sea minerals P- Spicy arrival, light peat and smoke, bubble gum, full, rich, oily, vanilla, apple, banana, burn sugar, funky, waxy, sea salt, sea water, oak, tart, sour, walnuts , grass, earthy F- long pleasant finish, sweet/salty/earthy aftertaste C- what a dram, the amount of complexity it's impressive, highly recommend it -

Glen Scotia 15 Year

Appearance- amber -1, nice viscosity Nose- smoke, peat, pepper, oysters, savory, bacon, fermented cheese, maritime minerals, vanilla, hints of honey Palate- salty arrival, smoky, peaty, full, rich, sea salt, pepper, maritime minerals , briny, sweet, vanilla, honey, bacon, cheese, dark chocolate, coffee Finish- long, sweet and savory finish very pleasant Conclusion- what a nice surprise this dram is , nice enjoyable complexity, not for everyone though

C- fresh balanced dram (I would good for spring and summer) good value for money, if you find it give it a try is worth it
