Reviewed July 26, 2022 (edited July 27, 2022)NOSE Butterscotch, oak, dried fruit, baking spice and touches of copper and honey. It’s a bright, vibrant aroma that delivers a lot of fruit notes and just the right amount of oak to balance. PALATE Oak, butterscotch, cocoa, baking spice, leather, dried dark fruit, leather and some copper and nuts. Palate is quite a bit darker than the aroma and delivers a more classic TN Whiskey profile. FINISH Medium-long -> Oak, butterscotch, cocoa fade to baking spice and graham. BALANCE, BODY and FEEL Well-balanced, medium body and a warm soft feel. -
NOSE Oak, Dried dark fruit, corn meal, strawberry Necco, brown sugar, burnt butter ice cream, baking spice, bits of orchard fruit and nuts. Nice. Warm, fruity, oaky, spicy wonderful whiskey. PALATE Oak, dried dark fruit, corn meal, strawberry Necco, brown sugar, dark honey, toffee, vanilla, baking spice and nuts. Good, just a good solid whiskey, nothing at all to complain about. FINISH Med-long -> Oak, darkly fruity, darkly sweet and baking spice. BALANCE, BODY and FEEL Well-balanced, med-full body and a velvety feel.

EYE Amber NOSE Caramel, oak, vanilla, baking spice, nuts and a touch biscuity. Pretty standard aroma, nothing great nothing bad, decent standard profile. PALATE Oak, caramel, baking spice, vanilla, nuts, biscuity, slight dried dark fruit, pralines. Sweet and oaky with a nice nutty candy note that’s a tad on the sweet side, but again, pretty standard. FINISH Medium -> Oak, baking spice, fruit, dried fruit, nuts. BALANCE, BODY and FEEL Decent balance, medium body and a soft easy feel.

NOSE Oaky, caramel, leathery dried fruit, Banana’s Foster, vanilla, baking spice and a touch biscuity. Good side of standard bourbon, nothing revolutionary on this one, but nice. PALATE Oaky, caramel, baking spice, Banana’s Foster, vanilla, baking spice, biscuity, roasted nuts. Good side of standard bourbon, nice, but nothing great. FINISH Medium -> Banana, oak, caramel and nutty.

PALATE Orchard fruity, oaky, baking spice, vanilla, caramel and malty sweet with a nutty banana malted shake. Velvety warm and fruity with a malty tastiness. FINISH Medium -> Oaky, malty and fruity tastiness and caramel banana -

Reviewed May 26, 2022 (edited December 21, 2022)NOSE Dried apples, peaches, pears, strawberry taffy, malt, wax and a touch of vanilla beans. I want to live in this aroma, it’s elegant, balanced and just all-around nice. PALATE Honey, pears, dried apples, candied nuts, Honey Nut Cheerios, strawberry taffy and waxy vanilla. Like the aroma this is elegant, it’s something I could sip anytime and be happy. FINISH Medium -> Fruit, taffy, malty sweetness fades to Honey Nut Cheerios. -
NOSE Dried orchard fruit and banana chips, birthday cake with vanilla frosting and some notes of baking spice and copper. There is a solid malty presence here, or at least it’s presenting that way with the sweetness. PALATE Banana, caramel, malty sweetness, baking spice, copper and a bit of vanilla and copper. Palate is like a slightly toned down, but more refined, version of the aroma. FINISH Medium -> Baking spice, vanilla, dried fruit and a some oaky hints.

NOSE Grassy, coppery, malty, lemongrass, pine nuts and a light bit of honey and Necco wafers. Very unique in the pot still world with its crisp, lemongrass, aroma. Also quite light. PALATE Grassy, malty, copper, vanilla taffy, caramel, nutty and slightly spicy and candy sweet with a touch of oak. The crispness and sharpness of this is intriguing, delicious and noticeably bolder than the aroma. FINISH Medium -> Lemongrass, copper, spice and some malty oak.

NOSE Olde tyme strawberry taffy, malt, creamy vanilla and touches of baking spice, Honey Nut Cheerios and oak. Rich and elegant the aroma rolls lazily out of the glass. PALATE Olde tyme strawberry taffy, creamy vanilla, cinnamon, malty graham, dried sultanas, banana and some bits of cocoa and oak. Bolder and warmer than the aroma with even more fruity facets showing up. FINISH Medium-long -> Fruity sweetness, malt, grainy oak and cinnamon and waxy vanilla.

NOSE Spiced dried orchard fruit, malt, copper, vanilla, banana chips and a touch of minerality. Not a ton of cognac influence on the nose, just a few hints and whispers. PALATE Malt, banana taffy, baking spice, dried orchard fruit, nuts and a touch of raisin and candy sweetness. There is a bit more of the cognac coming through with a heavier spice and richer sweetness. FINISH Medium-short -> Malt, fruit, baking spice and vanilla.
