Código 1530 Origen Extra Añejo Tequila
Tequila Extra Añejo — Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed December 27, 2018 (edited August 10, 2023)One of the best tequilas I’ve ever tried. Uber smooth and full of flavors like vanilla, caramel, raisins, jalapeños, cream soda, Luxardo cherries, cranberries, maple syrup, hazlenuts, Blood oranges, mocha, and dark chocolate, while still maintaining agave earthiness from pepper and truffles. Can easily be served in a blind cognac, single malt, or Armagnac tasting.Catch NYC -
Fortaleza Añejo Tequila
Tequila Añejo — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed December 21, 2018 (edited July 1, 2021)Lote 43a. Mostly similar to lote 42a except 43a has more of a spicy kick and 42a is smoother. Like 42a a bit more. Lote numbers are shown on the back of the bottle. Notes of agave, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, tropical fruit, pepper, and butter. Gets more buttery on nose and palate with time -
