Cachaça Amélia has been produced since 1916, in Paraisópolis, Minas Gerais. João da Amélia, as he was known and recognized, showed up at Fazenda Santa Luzia with an imposing six-meter-diameter water wheel, an iron mill suit, a gleaming copper still and fermentation tanks. The cane fields surrounded the property, extending the green to feed the mill's hunger. Thus, due to the stubbornness of João da Amélia, what would become the most appreciated pinga in the region was born. So appreciated that fame reached the cities of Cambuí and Córrego do Bom Jesus. It didn't take long and the farm's troop of twenty donkeys, carrying an enormity of 1,500 liters of the drink, began to cross the roads to distribute the cachaça among drovers and villages. It's a simple cachaça but the prodution of Amélia is traditional. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional.5.0 USD per BottleTimbuca Bar

In 1960, José Maria Santana, better known as Zé Santana, began to produce cachaça in a small watermill in Guaraciaba, Minas Gerais. The product was sold and delivered on the back of donkeys by the tropeiros. The fame of cachaça spread throughout the region and demand increased, causing the mill to be replaced by a larger one, powered by steam. Five years later, the Guaraciaba brand was registered, and the troop of donkeys was replaced by a truck. In a short time, it was already one of the favorite drinks in the capital. Today, Cachaça Guaraciaba is managed by Zé Santana's successor and manufactured between June and October, producing from 400,000 to 600,000 liters of cachaça per year. Cachaça Guaraciaba Extra Premium is aged for three years in oak barrels. Robust and potent (alcohol content of 42%) but at the same time sophisticated and elegant, balanced, woody and with a pleasant sweetness. (Visual) Clear, it has a beautiful golden color typical of aging in oak barrels. Abundant tears on the rim of the glass. (Nose) The delicious aroma of vanilla, coconut, caramel, dried fruits and sugar cane. (Mouth) Good body, alcohol balanced with the essences of oak wood and other components. Sensory rich. Cachaça Havana is one of the most traditional artisanal cachaças in Brazil and considered by many to be the most famous brand of the national distillate. It is stored for 12 years in balsam barrels, typical wood from the Salinas region, Minas Gerais. Robust, it has an alcohol content of 47%. One winter in Rio Grande do Sul, a gentleman with a Caribbean accent visited the Weber Haus still and was impressed with the quality of the Cachaças tasted. Before leaving, he challenged Evandro Weber to create an excellent rum that could surpass the best labels in the Americas. The provocation stayed in Evandro's mind for years, until he decided to comply with the request of that mysterious visitor, who didn't even know the name. The bottle 001 is on display at the Weber Haus boutique, on the romantic route in Rio Grande do Sul, awaiting the return of this "Señor" to attest whether the challenge was met. This Brazilian Premium Rum was stored for two years in three different woods (Amburana, Balsam and Oak Barrels). Made from sugarcane molasses, it can be enjoyed pure, as an excellent aged distilled beverage. Light, it has an alcohol content of 38, aromatic, sweet and woody, rich in sensorial terms.
